RSI (Repetitive Strain Injury) is a serious reason for sick leave among butcher’s oat poultry processing factories. Therefore, DVS developed a semi-automatic electrical killing machine that will address and reduce those health complaints. Animal welfare is benefitted due to the use of a rotating blade. A rotating blade creates a more uniform cut and remains sharp longer. Cutting depth is easily set by adjusting the blade cover. The manually operated killing machine meets the applicable halal standards. A butcher operates the blade (on/off) with one hand while the other hand presents the neck to the blade.
This Halal Killing Machine is available for both left- and righthanded butchers and can be easily implemented in any killing line. It’s adjustable in height, move towards or away from the line and rotates.
